“It does sound like the Direct is still on. If it gets moved around, it will probably be a very minor adjustment. Expect it early next week.” Insider NateTheHate also tweeted that it would be announced on Monday, September 12th. Of course, nothing official is confirmed, so stay tuned.

If it gets shifted about, it will probably be a very modest alteration, according to Jeff Grubb of Giant Bomb. With Tokyo Game Show just around the brink, speculations were wild about a new Nintendo Direct appearing in the week of September 12th. Due to Queen Elizabeth II’s failing health and subsequent demise, Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb was doubtful if the showcase would take place, but he recently tweeted that it is “still on.”

Highlights

  • As for what you should expect, Grubb reported that HD ports for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess would finally be announced after being rumored for so long. The official name for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s sequel will also allegedly be revealed. There may even be new trailers for PlatinumGames’ Bayonetta 3, releasing on October 28th for Nintendo Switch, and Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp, which may release in 2023 after multiple delays.
