  • For an unknown sum, Rock Solid Technologies, a provider of GovTech solutions in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, has been acquired by Granicus, a company specializing in customer experience technologies and services for the government.

the two firms have “long been committed to developing and strengthening digital modernization capabilities that expedite government processes, boost transparency, and generate a more accessible legislative process that leads to engaged communities and increased trust.”

The company claimed that the partnership of Granicus and Rock Solid would “amplify years of industry leadership in working with local government leaders to deliver customer experience technologies and services” and would “demonstrate the continued commitment to help government organizations navigate their digital transformation journey.”

The combination of Granicus and Rock Solid will hasten the growth of its government platforms in the Latin American and Caribbean markets, they claimed.

Local governments will be able to provide complete technology, service, and mission-critical support choices that fit the needs of each municipality’s unique public meetings thanks to the integration of Rock Solid and Granicus solutions.

Rock Solid has improved public finance and operations management, 311 Service Request Management, and other procedures, resulting in a wide range of technology and service combinations that are intended to support the requirements and sophistication levels of any government.

“We are combining the strongest technology, services, and data analytics available in the market to build a stronger platform that will enable our government clients to significantly enhance citizen experience, transparency, and engagement, ultimately assisting you in achieving operational efficiencies, all from one dependable partner: Hines.

This acquisition, he added, is a crucial milestone in the company’s objective to support all-size governments in connecting with their constituents in a secure, fair, and digital environment.

Rock Solid’s vice president for Latin America and the Caribbean, Gilberto Fraguada, stated: The purchase reflects Granicus’ dedication to ongoing product innovation, exceptional customer service, and supporting the economic development and professional advancement of its Puerto Rican employees, executives said.
