Disney not only plans to release further Star Wars video games soon, but also wants to see as many as two games based on the sci-fi franchise debut each year.
Despite the fact that there are already a number of Star Wars video games in development for different platforms, this goal does not seem all that impossible to reach.
Jedi: Survivor, the follow-up to Jedi: Fallen Order, will be available for Windows PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X. Star Wars: Hunters, a free-to-play multiplayer game, will be available on mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch. Both games are scheduled for release in 2023.
The other two announced video games are the remake of Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars: Eclipse, both of which are not anticipated for at least a few years due to their size and other development-related concerns.
Luke Skywalker is scheduled to fight in Fortnite next month, while the online role-playing game Star Wars: The Old Republic also continues to receive frequent upgrades. Fortnite reportedly adds new Star Wars material at least once a year. possibly visit Isle Royale.
Additionally, Respawn Entertainment, Skydance Media, and Ubisoft Massive are working on a number of unannounced Star Wars games that will not be out for a few more years. In addition, there are ongoing speculations of a video game featuring Mandalorians and a potential Star Wars Battlefront II spin-off starring Iden Versio (based on actor sightings).
