Instagram, Spotify, and so on. It is quite common to notice that Google, every now and then, pulls a certain app from its store. The reason for this could vary with the most common one being the fact that the app doesn’t comply with the company’s policy. Don’t fret if the app you have had your eye is no longer available at the Google Play Store. You can always install the APK of that app from a third-party platform with a process called “sideloading.” Android devices come with a default security function which doesn’t let the users install applications outside of the Play Store. The Process – Setting up your smartphone

In order to do this, you will have to go to the Settings page and click on Apps and Notification. Scroll down and click on Advance and find Special App Access. Tap in Install Unknown Apps. Here, you will be able to choose the for which you want to give permission to install. This is usually the browser you use. Once done, you can click on “Allow from this source”. This will enable the browser to now download and install from unknown sources.

Once you have set up your device, you can now start looking for the APK or the Android Package File that you will need. APK is a way how Android apps are distributed and installed. Downloading and using APKs that were secured from third-party websites with a poor reputation could affect your phone with viruses and malware. Only ever download APK files from trustworthy companies, platforms, or developers. Always be careful of the APKs you download from other websites or app stores.
