Xiaomi announces super-fast 80W wireless charging tech, tops up 4000mAh battery in 19 minutes

Xiaomi has announced its latest wireless charging technology which appears to be faster than most conventional wired charging technologies out there right now. In line with leaks and rumors, Xiaomi has gone ahead and officially announced its latest wireless charging technology, which is rated to provide 80W charging to supported devices.

With the announcement, this has become the fastest wireless charging in the world, which is much faster than what competing gamers are offering at the moment. As with Xiaomi, the wireless charging technology can charge a 4,000mAh battery in just 19.

In addition to the work it is doing in creating wireless charging technologies, Xiaomi is also striving to create a new standard of wired fast charging that could provide more than 120W of charge to phones, something already found on the Mi 10. Ultra. This technology is expected to be available in the company’s next-generation flagship smartphone and could be made official before the launch of the phone.
