The Big Billion Days going on on Flipkart have a wide range of offers and discounts not only on TVs and appliances, but also on smartphones. For fans of the platform’s longtime partners like Poco, it means aggressive offers on some of the most popular Poco phones available right now.

Also among these is the Poco M2, which has now received an aggressive discount by bringing its price below the Rs 9,000 threshold. As a result of a discount of Rs 1,500, the phone is now available on the platform at a starting price of Rs 8,999 for the base 64GB variant. This is due to a fixed discount of Rs 1500 if you buy the phone using an SBI credit or debit card.

Why is Poco M2 a good buy?

Perhaps at less than Rs 9,000 with all the discounts and offers applied, the Poco M2 stands out as a very aggressively priced phone that offers a lot in the way of features and performance. The device battles many Realme and Redmi phones at this price point, but it still feels like a good buy based on its specs.

That’s because, on the outside, the Poco M2 features a 6.53-inch display with support for Full HD resolution for watching movies and gaming, while under the hood, the phone hides a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC paired with 6GB. of RAM and up to 128GB of storage, expandable to 512GB. This setup should also be good enough for mid-level games.

The device also features a quad camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary lens and an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On top of that, there’s a 5000mAh battery that the company says can help the phone run for two days on a single charge. It can be recharged using an 18W fast charger that comes with the phone.

Additionally, there’s a dedicated microSD card slot, dual-band Wi-Fi. The phone comes with a two-tone pattern similar to the Poco M2 Pro. It will also have a 3.5mm headphone jack, corning gorilla glass 3, and will be available in three colors: pitch black, slate blue, brick red. There will also be a P2i coating to make it splash proof. The phone will also come with MIUI 12-based Poco Launcher out of the box.
