Camera company VSCO introduced new video effects and a redesigned camera with new capture modes on Wednesday. These features were added to the $ 19.99 per year VSCO X subscription.

Four new effects have been added when recording videos: VHS, Glitch, Kaleido and Chroma. They will allow you to add everything from a nostalgic and vintage touch to a fun and colorful distortion within the VSCO app. These predefined videos can be added once you add a video to the app and start editing. You will see a new FX icon.

There are also new camera capture modes:

  • Photo: To take a photo, swipe to choose a photo effect, then tap once to take a photo.

  • video: To record a video, scroll to choose a video effect, then tap to start recording.

  • Burst: To use Burst mode, tap once to fill the grid with a continuous series of photos.
