Vote for Muskegon’s Basketball Player of Week February 22-27

MUSKEGON – We’re halfway through this compact regular season in high school basketball.

This is MLive Muskegon Chronicle Player of the Week’s third fan poll of the season, hailing five girls and five boys, who shone in matches played February 22-27.

The poll will remain open until 9am on Friday. You can vote as many times as you want.

Here are the capsules for each of the 10 players in the survey, arranged in alphabetical order:

Emily Bayle, Hesperia

The 5-foot-8 senior guard was a stats packer in a couple of wins for the Panthers last week. On Wednesday, Bayle had 22 points, 12 rebounds and seven steals in a 60-47 win over Walkerville. On Friday, with a 63-30 win over Holton, he finished with 25 points, 16 rebounds and three steals.

Kenzie Bowers, Kent City

The 5-foot-9 senior point guard continued his great season for the undefeated Eagles, who are ranked second in Division 3. Bowers scored 26 points in an 84-29 breakaway win over Hopkins on Tuesday. In Friday’s 54-14 win over White Cloud, he finished with 14 points. Bowers scored 13 goals in Saturday’s 56-36 win over Grand Rapids Covenant Christian.
