It’s no secret that Vivo is working on a new lite variant of the recently launched Vivo V20. Reportedly to be called the V20 SE, this new phone is expected to launch later today with the company aiming to take the lid off the device at 12:00 today.
The information comes courtesy of 91Mobiles who in a previous report revealed this information citing industry sources. He also said the phone is ready for advance booking through offline resellers. Interestingly, this is in line with information we had also received last week through our own sources which confirmed that the phone will be launched in India this week.
The phone is rumored to be a mid-range device that will start retailing at Rs 20,990. As for the specs of the device, a lot is already known as the phone is expected to be the same as the one launched in Thailand earlier this year.
Therefore, the Vivo V20 SE in India is expected to be equipped with a 6.44-inch Full HD + AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 60Hz. The screen may sport a teardrop notch on the top to accommodate the front camera.
Coming to the basic hardware, under the hood, we could see a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and Adreno 610 GPU paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with support for expandable storage using a microSD card.
Vivo V20 SE is tilted to achieve a triple camera setup on the rear. There will be a 48-megapixel main camera with an aperture of f / 1.8, an 8-megapixel macro camera with an aperture of f / 2.2, and a 2-megapixel Bokeh camera with an aperture of f / 2.4. Camera features include various modes such as Pro, Slo-mo, AI 48MP, DOC, Portrait, Photo, Video, Night, AR Stickers, Panorama, Live Photo, etc. with f / 2.0 aperture.
Keeping the lights on the device would be a 4,100mAh battery pack with support for the standard 33W flash charge.
