(Reuters) – Media company ViacomCBS Inc said Tuesday that it will launch its streaming service, Paramount +, in the United States on March 4.
The company said Paramount +, formerly CBS All Access, will debut in Latin America and Canada on the same day, in the Nordic countries on March 25, and in Australia in mid-2021.
By joining streaming services from other media companies such as Disney + from Walt Disney Co, Netflix Inc, and HBO Max from AT&T Inc, Paramount + will compete for space in the fast-growing market spurred by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Paramount + will include episodes and movies from BET, CBS, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon and Paramount Pictures owned by ViacomCBS, including original series such as “The Twilight Zone” and “The Good Fight”.
