Verisk agrees to sell 3E Business

Encompass Health Corp. plans to spin off home health and hospice operations

Verisk said the deal has a potential aggregate cash consideration of up to $950 million. The purchase price consists of $630 million of cash at closing, up to $50 million of earnout payments and up to $270 million of additional deferred payments.

Verisk Analytics Inc. on Monday said it agreed to sell its 3E business to investment firm New Mountain Capital.
