Showly app can track your TV shows & movies for you. All you need to do is favorite the TV shows you’re watching, and the app will remind you when the next episode is coming. Once you watch it, simply mark it as watched, and you’re good to go. Something similar can be said about movies as well. Favorite the movies you’re interested in watching, and when you watch them, simply mark them as watched. The app can also suggest some great content for you, but it needs to know what you like first.

One of the most widely used apps for tracking TV series and movies is the Showly app. If you watch a lot of TV series or movies, having such an app is wonderful because it makes keeping track of everything simple. When I was younger, I used to keep a written record of the episodes of the shows I watched and had to manually keep track of things like the release dates for new seasons. An app like this, however, handles everything for you.

  • For each show, you can read user comments, if that’s something that will help you decide whether to watch it or not. Be wary of spoilers, if you intend on really delving deep into the comments section. Yes, this app can also send you notifications. It can notify you when new episodes, seasons, and premieres are coming or become available. There are also some widgets at your disposal, and home page shortcuts.

  • Those of you who love using open source apps, well, that’s another reason to try out Showly. This is an open source app, and it also looks quite good at the same time. Its design is simple enough, but not too simple, while it keeps everything a click or two away. You can also browse through popular, trending, and anticipated TV shows & movies. Showly also allows you to browse through popular, trending, and anticipated TV shows and movies, just in case you don’t know what to watch, or want to stay up to date.

The app does come with both a light and a dark theme, while you can read some news inside it as well. It comes in a number of languages, and it really is a compelling piece of software.
