Upul Tharangfrom Sri Lankannounces retirement from international cricket

  • Sri Lankan batsman Upul Tharanga has announced his retirement from international cricket tuesday.

    The 36-year-old informed of his retirement via a long statement on the matter Twitter.

    A left-handed hitter, Tharanga, last played for Sri Lanka in an ODI on their 2019 South Africa tour.

    He also served as a captain for a short time.
