A few days after the launch of the OnePlus 8T, the phone manufacturer has once again teased the next phone. In an official YouTube teaser, the company showed the next device in its Aquamarine Green avatar.

The YouTube teaser doesn’t give us an in-depth look at the design, but it still manages to reveal enough about what the phone will look like at launch. In addition, the teaser also confirms the configuration of a quad rear camera on the back and shows the placement of the cameras and the design of the module in which they are housed.

Sitting in the upper left corner of the rear panel, the camera module is rectangular in shape. In the center is the white OnePlus brand logo. The rest of the back is dominated by the Green Aquamarine glass back.

Speaking about the design of the device in a blog post, the company’s CEO, Pete Lau, said: “After exploring countless iterations with different CMFs (color, material and finish) for more than 4 months, we have achieved a breakthrough and produced a remarkable glossy back cover for the new Aquamarine Green variant of the OnePlus 8T. This version uses diffuse reflection, a form of light refraction that diffuses light in a wide range of angles and directions, to produce a clean and shiny surface which effectively mitigates the accumulation of fingerprints. “

On top of that, we’ve already had confirmation from OnePlus that the phone will come with an AMOLED panel that will run at a quick 120Hz refresh rate. The OnePlus 8T screen information is officially available from OnePlus, complete with Display Mate’s test notes rating it very well. OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 8T screen will use a new 2.5D flexible glass that helps the display shine brighter, reaching a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits, while color accuracy will be “the highest possible in the industry”.

Another confirmation of the features we have from OnePlus is the faster charging on OnePlus 8T. The company has already anticipated that the phone offers “Ultra-Fast” charging speeds of up to 65W using the company’s new Warp Charge 65 solution. This will be paired with a 4500mAh battery pack. More information about the device will be known in the coming days as we approach the launch date of the device.
