As you will see in the following video, some of the games that were showcased had graphical bugs and glitches. Despite this, though, it’s really cool witnessing a PS4 emulator running commercial games. Those interested can download fpPS4 from here or here. The emulator requires a 64bit operating system, an x64 CPU that supports AVX2, and a GPU that supports the Vulkan API.
In a video posted to YouTube, “John GodGames Emus” shows off some 2D games that are being played on the fpPS4 Playstation 4 emulator. For the record, fpPS4 is still in the very early stages of development. So, don’t plan on using emulation to play the most recent triple-A PS4 titles on your PC any time soon. FpPS4 is the fourth Playstation 4 emulator currently under development, as we have previously said. Kyty, Spine, and GPCS4 make up the remaining three.
