Moreover, Digital Chat Station has corroborated the information that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra’s rear panel will come in black leather or white ceramic. The leather reportedly has a palpable texture. About the camera specs, the XIaomi 12 Ultra will have the same triple camera specs on the back – 50MP 24mm wide camera, 48MP 120mm periscope zoom, and a 48MP 12mm ultrawide.
A Leica logo will be found on the rear of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, directly over the camera arrangement. Digital Chat Station, a frequent leaker, posted a photo of the back panel on Weibo, along with confirmation that Leica will place its branding on the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Outside of Leica’s own, quite rare Leitz 1 phone, this will be the first time a phone wears the renowned emblem.
When Xiaomi and Leica announced their partnership, they teased that the first product with a Leica branding will arrive in July. We’ll see if it’s the Xiaomi 12 Ultra or the 12S.
