More:Here are the Kentucky counties where the CDC says everyone needs a mask indoors
This pandemic crisis is a no-brainer to combat — protect yourself and your family from this deadly virus. Just like people have already done against such deadly diseases like polio, typhoid and measles.
These cries of liberty and control over your bodies cannot be heard when you are on a ventilator.
While this is a not-so-gentle reminder to all you naysayers — the 50% of Kentucky’s unvaccinated population — if you had worn a frigging mask six months ago, this Delta strain of the COVID virus would not have escalated into this deadly attack on children and young adults.
And what about all those pathetic cries of socialism? Who do you think is paying those $30,00 to $50,000 hospital bills for all the unvaccinated people who end up in the ICU? And who do you think will ultimately end up paying those $100 increased monthly medical insurance premiums? Not a God that you say is protecting you.
And let’s talk about your hypocrisy of “government overreach” mandating laws on our bodies. You scream that a mask is invasive, but an ultrasound law on a woman’s uterus is not?
So here is the solution. Instead of all the overworked nurses and doctors wasting money, resources and their own lives by trying to save the lives of unvaccinated people, just put those unvaccinated protestors in an abandoned building where they all can mingle with each other without infecting those of us who have taken this deadly virus seriously.

Let’s mandate that all those elected officials like Kentucky Sen. Whitney Westerfield, Rep. Lynn Bechler, Attorney General Daniel Cameron and U.S. Sen. Rand Paul, who only cares about political posturing, that they have to volunteer at the local pediatric hospitals and try to comfort those parents who sit for days and weeks beside their sick young children who are on ventilators because these misguided legislators can only promote their own selfish goals of getting reelected. And all those anti-science doctors, like Thomas Davis, M.D., who are fighting the masks mandates for children, need to have their medical license revoked. They have violated the very oath they are sworn to uphold: “I will respect the hard-won scientific gains of those physicians in whose steps I walk, and gladly share such knowledge as is mine with those who are to follow.”
All of these unvaccinated people, the legislators, elected officials and medical professionals who wish to ban masks that could save lives, let’s recognize them for what they really are, political panderers who care nothing about the nearly 10,000 Kentuckians who have died from COVID-19. So, all of you Kentuckians, get vaccinated and then vote these self-serving legislators out of office.
