The head of sales of Mercedes, confident, will solve the shortages of semiconductors

FRANKFURT (Reuters) – The sales chief of Daimler’s Mercedes unit is confident the company will resolve semiconductor bottlenecks with suppliers and minimize impact on customers, he said Wednesday.

“We are confident that, together with the suppliers, we will take this issue into our own hands,” Britta Seeger told reporters. He said car deliveries in January were guaranteed but that the company, with suppliers, was looking into the possible effects in February and March.
