And now Costco, Target, and Walmart are throwing their hats into the ring. Black Friday doesn’t officially begin until November 26, but these early sales may be your best bet for avoiding frustrating stock and shipping issues from 2021’s ongoing product shortages and supply-chain disruptions. We’ll continue to scour all the sales, and we will update this list—as well as the Wirecutter Deals page—with the best early deals we find.
Black Friday promotions has begun, and we’re sifting through the duds to find the best deals that are worth your time. We’ve already seen notable sales from Best Buy and Amazon.
Kohl’s had a largely lackluster showing on early Black Friday deals this year. However, following Target’s footsteps, it has just announced an official Black Friday sale starting Sunday, November 21. We’re expecting to see deals from Kohl’s across a few categories, including smart home tech and kitchen gear, that will at least match pricing from Amazon.

Kohl’s is known for offering stackable coupons—so double check your codes before checking out to make sure you get the best price. As usual, Kohl’s cardholders will get access to exclusive deals. Notably, Kohl’s is also implementing self-returns this year, which will allow shoppers to skip the lines and return unwanted items themselves. Here are a few deals we’re excited to see.
