The 60FPS PS5 patch for Assassin’s Creed Origins will be released on June 2nd

And er…well, that’s about it. Origins is considered by many to be one of the best games in Ubisoft’s series. It features a stunning recreation of Egypt, complete with pyramids, temples, bustling cities, and vast swathes of desert. It also revitalised Assassin’s Creed as a franchise, going on to sell incredibly well following the relative disappointment of Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. It’s been announced that Assassin’s Creed Origins will receive its long-awaited PS5 update on June 2nd. That’s a lot sooner than we expected – we were expecting it to arrive when the open world game launches on Xbox Game Pass next week. So it was a lovely little surprise. On PS5, the game will operate at 60 frames per second thanks to the patch.
