Tech News: That Crash Bandicoot mobile game you forgot about finally has a release date.
If you think back to mid-2020, when we were still struggling with global blocks, you will remember that the famous mobile game producer King has announced Crash Bandicoot: On The Run, an endless runner in the style of Temple Run and many more.
Nine months later, you’d be forgiven for forgetting everything about the Crash Bandicoot mobile title, but King didn’t and we finally have a release date for the game: March 25th.
The pre-registration has been open for some time (Android | iOS), so you can already subscribe to the game and this will ensure that the title will be available on your mobile when the game is released. But now we know we’ll just have to wait a few more weeks before the game is over.
It’s suspicious that we know so little about Crash Bandicoot: On The Run, but King has a good reputation for producing popular mobile games (ever heard of Candy Crush?), So there’s reason to be optimistic.
We know that the game is an “endless runner” type game, a fast-paced genre popularized by Temple Run, in which you avoid the obstacles that throw you while you collect currency. There are said to be several levels of On The Run and other changes to the endless runner formula.
However, you will go blind like us when you launch the game on March 25th. We hope fans of the series like the title.
