Techland has released a new episode of Dying Light 2 Know More, which includes fresh information about the future game as well as a festive video wishing fans a nice Christmas season.

With a new video, the developer also wishes fans a nice holiday season.

Highlights

  • The developer also said that thanks to playtesting and feedback from players, Dying Light 2 now has more accessibility options than any previous Techland title. The game will have text size adjustments so players will be able to scale the on-screen subtitles, as well as subtitle backgrounds. Speaker name coloration, color blindness profiles, a left-handed control profile, and a tap/hold toggle for button prompts will also be featured.

  • In this episode, Agata Sykuła, UI Producer at Techland, talks about what players can expect from Dying Light 2 aside from gameplay, sharing new details on the game’s UI, HUD, and accessibility features. UI will have full customization and will include the ability to freely toggle HUD elements like enemy health bards, the quest log, and experience point counters.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human was slated to launch in December 2021, but was delayed back in September. The game will now launch on February 4, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch (cloud version).

In addition, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Techland, the studio has partnered with GOG and Steam and has made some of its previous titles free, with more offers coming soon. The developer also wished fans happy holidays with a new sketch video, ‘Best Wishes From Techland! Happy Holidays and Stay Human!’, showing a grandma knitting a ‘Stay Human’ sweater for a zombie.
