Sony introduced the a7S Mark III camera 2-3 months ago to the global market. Sony a7S Mark III has yet to debut in India. Now, the latest reports suggest Sony India is set to launch its full-frame a7S Mark III mirrorless camera on October 12th.

The Japanese imaging brand recently announced Sony ZV-1 in India at Rs 77,990. The ZV-1 is designed for digital content creators with some vlog specific features. But with a7S Mark III, the craze is different among camera users.

Sony Alpha a7S III is the successor to Sony Alpha a7S II which was released in the year 2015. While the a7s Mark II camera is focused on video, the latest a7S Mark III is aimed at photographers as the camera can only record 4K video (while, Sony’s competitors are including 8K video capabilities in their cameras). But at the same time, Sony claims that a7S Mark III shoots 4K video in very dark light conditions.

This indicates that the Sony a7S Mark III may or may not be the game changer for videographers or directors that time will tell. But yes, the a7S Mark III definitely packs a handful of impressive specs and features at least for professional photographers.

Features of the Sony a7S Mark III include a 12.1 megapixel image sensor, BIONZ XR image processing engine, 5-axis optical IBIS for manual shooting, a touch screen panel, two memory card slots and more.

In the a7S Mark III there is a fast hybrid autofocus system with 759-point phase detection AF sensors covering 92% of the image sensor. The camera offers real-time eye AF and real-time tracking.

The price of the Sony a7S Mark III in India will come out very soon when the company launches the latest camera next week.

Sony will launch its latest a7S Mark III full frame mirrorless camera in India next week.
