Skullcandy introduced its new headphones in the Crusher franchise called Crusher Evo for Rs 12,999. The headphones feature the combination of Skullcandy’s sensory tactile bass and Skullcandy’s partner Audiodo custom custom sound. Audio personalization technology can be enabled via the Skullcandy app. The tactile bass sensory function is a signature to Skullcandy Crusher headphones and will be featured in the Crusher Evo headphones.
Skullcandy claims the Crusher Evo headphones will offer 40 hours of battery life with fast-charging technology that can deliver 4 hours of play on a 10-minute charge. The headphones will also be equipped with multimedia controls so that users can take calls, change tracks, adjust volume controls and activate native device assistants like Google and Siri without touching their phone.
Like other recently launched Skullcandy products, the Crusher Evo headphones will have built-in Tile-find technology that allows Crusher Evo owners to easily “ring the headphones” to locate them if lost. In addition, the headphones have a flat fold to make the headphones more compact and a foldable design for easy carrying. The Crusher Evo will also have a streetwear-inspired carry case and auxiliary cable for non-Bluetooth connectivity, for watching or listening to content on aircraft consoles. The headphones come with a USB-C charging cable and a 2-year warranty.
The Crusher Evo headphones are available for Rs 12,999 on the Skullcandy website. Users need to lower the slider for softer bass on the headphones and raise it for music with heavy bass. Skullcandy also claims that the Crusher Evo offers audio quality improvements over the original Crusher so that users can experience an even wider range of deeper, richer bass.
Skullcandy notes that to customize an audio profile, a Crusher Evo user can simply plug their headphones into the Skullcandy app and do a quick audio test to determine their own unique personal audio profile in the left and right ear. Skullcandy has also partnered with the Swedish company Audiodo.
According to the company, Audiodo technology automatically adjusts incoming audio levels to optimize the sound of the headphones to each user’s profile. This will allow users to hear levels and sounds in their audio that were never heard before.
Amlan Bhattacharjya, CEO of Brand Eyes, official distributor of Skullcandy in India, said: “Skullcandy fans have always loved Crusher because it offers a one-of-a-kind immersive bass experience. It allows users to more than just listen to their music. or movies, but also to actually hear them. Crusher Evo takes that immersion to an even higher level than ever. “
The headphones promise to deliver a personalized audio experience for unique hearing. “The result of combining our patented Crusher tactile sensation with Audiodo’s Personal Sound is something that is quite mind-blowing the first time you try it. During testing, we found it really fun to see how surprised people are when they hear and feel what they have been missing. There’s just nothing like it, “Bhattacharya said.
