Sega has lost two of the creators of the Yakuza series

The creator of the Yakuza series Toshihiro Nagoshi and the producer of the series Daisuke Sato both announced their departure from Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the latter being the team responsible for Yakuza games within Sega.

Director Ryosuke Horii and producer Hiroyuki Sakamoto will obviously become the “core leaders” of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, and they will continue to make Yakuza games.
