SBI online banking services down due to server issues

The State Bank of India informed users on Tuesday that online banking services have been hit due to server problems. The bank issued a note on its officer Twitter and informed users of the technical problem.

The note shared by SBI reads: “Intermittent connectivity issues have delayed making our main banking system available to our valued customers today 13.10.2020. We look forward to serving you normally before noon. All channels will be affected. except for ATMs and POS machines. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and ask you to bear with us. “

SBI customers cannot use online banking services, but they can withdraw money from SBI ATMs and POSs will work too, the bank said in the statement.

Many SBI customers have accepted Twitter to report problems with SBI online services. One of the users wrote: “Instead of posting on Twitter, this important notice should have been sent to all customers by SMS. “

While another user said: “You can’t use the online banking website or make payments through any of the UPI apps. I’ve been having problems with SBI since yesterday.”
