Samsung Galaxy S20 FE will arrive in India tomorrow if a new report is to be released. The FE in the smartphone name stands for Fan Edition, essentially offering a lot of features at a lower price. The design of the Galaxy S20 FE is similar to that of the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series phones, but there are some variations in the specifications. But one thing that is still first class and borrowed from the expensive counterparts you get on the Galaxy S20 FE is the 120Hz AMOLED screen. It’s premium and probably as good as the one on the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 phones.
The Galaxy S20 FE was launched globally a few weeks ago, about a month after the debut of the Galaxy Note 20 series phones. According to the Gadgets 360 report, Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S20 FE will arrive in India on Tuesday 6 October. It is rumored that only the 4G variant of the Galaxy S20 FE will be launched in India. There is a 5G variant of the smartphone that has become official in the global market but, rightly so, which is not headed to India, due to the lack of the necessary infrastructure for 5G connectivity – although that scarcity hasn’t stopped brands like Realme, Oppo and Vivo. since the launch of 5G phones.
Additionally, there will be a single storage configuration that will see the light in India, according to Gadgets 360. Only the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model will hit stores in India; the remaining two variants – 6GB, 128GB and 8GB, 256GB – are likely not to hit the Indian market. The Galaxy S20 FE will arrive in India in Cloud Red, Cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint, Cloud Navy and Cloud White colors. Interestingly, there is a sixth color variant available globally but, I guess, it won’t launch in India.
Samsung did not explain how much the Galaxy S20 FE will cost in India. Although he said the price of the phone will be “extremely competitive,” according to the report. The Galaxy S20 FE costs $ 699 for the 5G model in the US. Based on direct currency conversion, the Galaxy S20 FE 5G is expected to cost around Rs 51,000 in India, but we’re not getting the 5G version in India. It will reportedly be a 4G variant to be launched in India, which presumably will cost significantly less.
For its specs, the Galaxy S20 FE will come with a 6.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 990 processor and uses One UI 2.0 based on Android 10. It has three cameras on the back of the Galaxy S20 FE: a primary 12-megapixel F1.8 OIS sensor, a secondary 12-megapixel F2.2 sensor with a wide-angle lens with a 123 megapixel (FoV) field of view and a third 8 megapixel telephoto lens. For selfies, there’s a 32-megapixel camera inside a hole. The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is backed by a 4500mAh battery with 15W fast charging. Wireless charging is also available.
