Redmi launched a number of new phones in India this year, and among them, the Redmi 9 Pro was arguably one of the best sellers. Launched in March of this year, the phone became a big hit and has since been upgraded to MIUI 12 based on Android 10.

However, a new report now claims that the phone has started receiving the Android 11 update in India. According to reports, Redmi Note 9 Pro users in India are now receiving the update to Android 11 that comes with the build number V12.0.1.0.RJWINXM. The update according to a report published by GizmoChina is currently in a stable beta phase and as such is available only for selected users. The report adds that if all goes well and users don’t face any issues with the update, this build will roll out as stable for a wider audience in a few weeks.
