Realme X7 Pro 5G seems ready to launch outside of China but you should not be excited

Realme X7 Pro arrived in China last month adding to the brand’s list of 5G phones. But some evidence indicates that the X7 series could make it outside of China. The latest in the series is a listing on the Taiwan NCC agency website which is marked with the model number RMX2121, which belongs to Realme X7 Pro. Alongside, we also have some photographs to peek.

According to MySmartPrice who managed to locate the list, a Realme phone with model number RMX2121 could be launched in Taiwan. This model number belongs to Realme X7 Pro which means it will arrive in the Asian country but there are no details on the Realme X7 marquee. There are images available in the listing, revealing a 6.55-inch display, four cameras on the back, and a white color option. The listing itself revealed two batteries and a 65W fast charge on the Realme X7 Pro.

Some other documents attached to the list show that there will be at least 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Other details are not available, but will likely include specifications for the Realme X7 Pro in China. This means the Realme X7 Pro could be the first smartphone with the brand’s MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC to make it out of its home market. Taiwan got the commercial 5G network earlier this year, which makes it an opportune time for Realme to launch the X7 Pro. Earlier, Realme X7 Pro was also noted on the NBTC certification website.

For now, we’re not sure if Realme X7 Pro will launch in markets other than Taiwan. Markets without 5G infrastructure could also be considered since Realme launched its X50 Pro 5G in India in February. We will have to wait for more details to emerge to get a clearer picture.

Realme is expanding its 5G smartphone portfolio to countries other than China, and the X7 Pro is part of that strategy.

News Underline:

  • Realme is preparing to launch the X7 Pro outside of China.
  • The Realme X7 Pro may soon launch in Taiwan, where 5G was launched earlier this year.
  • Realme X7 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ SoC.
