The Realme Q2 series will launch in China on October 13 as the brand’s first to ship with Android 11 out of the box. So far, the device has been leaked in official teasers where its look is available, albeit not quite, but its specs haven’t been as openly available. The Realme Q2 has now reached the Geekbench benchmark website where some of its hardware is mentioned. Additionally, a new poster from Realme confirms there will be 65W fast charging on Realme Q2.
According to the Geekbench listing, first spotted by 91Mobiles, the Realme Q2 will have a MediaTek chipset. It could be the Dimensity 800U or 720 (MT6853V) chipset because the exact version is not listed. There will be at least 6GB of RAM on the device and Android 10, according to the listing. This goes in the opposite direction to the preceding claims. All the previous rumors and speculations have indicated that there will be Android 11 on Realme Q2, but the Geekbench listing tells a different story.
The Realme Q2 will have a 65W charge on its batteries, according to the company’s teasers. The battery capacity is said to be 4200mAh, but this is from previous rumors. There has been nothing new in this specification. Likewise, some of the Realme Q2’s other previously leaked specs include a 6.43-inch 1080p AMOLED display, a second 8GB RAM variant, a 256GB built-in storage, and a four-camera setup on the rear, including one. 48 megapixel camera, one 8 megapixel camera and two 2 megapixel cameras.
Realme’s Q2 series will carry on the things where the Q series started from. The latest generation Q series phone has entered India with the moniker Realme 5 Pro. Assuming Realme follows suit, the Realme Q2 could also arrive in India with a different name. Its launch is scheduled for October 13 in China.
