Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition launched in India on Wednesday. The launch comes before the tentative timeline, which was the next two to three days from now according to an informant. Also, unlike the rumors that the smartphone will launch as the C15, Realme is going with the simple C15 Qualcomm Edition to bring out the difference from the previous version. Realme C15 launched in August with a MediaTek chipset but this is equipped with a Snapdragon 460 SoC.

Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition costs Rs 9,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage version and the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model costs Rs 10,999. But you can get these models for Rs 500 less as part of the holiday offer. The 3GB model will sell for Rs 9,499 and the 4GB version will set you back Rs 10,499 as of noon October 29 on Flipkart and in major stores. Realme C15 is available in Power Blue and Power Silver colors.

Realme had previously hinted at the launch of Qualcomm versions of its C-series phones, but there was speculation about a slightly higher price tag than regular MediaTek versions. It seems the company isn’t leaving a great choice there. The Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition costs Rs 9,999, which is the same as the smartphone’s MediaTek counterpart. It will be interesting to see if the Qualcomm Edition manages to cannibalize the MediaTek version due to the price.

The rest of the specifications are the same. The Realme C15 features a 6.5-inch 720p LCD with a notch on the top. It has up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage which works in tandem with the Snapdragon 460 processor. You have the fingerprint sensor on the back of the smartphone. For photography, there’s a 13MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 2MP black and white sensor, and a retro sensor. For selfies, you have an 8MP camera that resides inside the notch. The smartphone has a 6000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

Realme C15 Qualcomm Edition brings a Snapdragon 460 processor under the hood while the rest of the specs are the same.
