Poco M3 launched with 48MP triple cameras, 6000mAh battery and more

Poco has finally launched its latest smartphone, the Poco M3. The phone was announced after a relatively short wait, as the device was recently teased for the first time by the company’s Product Marketing Manager, Angus Kai Ho Ng. The phone was later made fun of by the company Twitter manage also, which also revealed the launch date of the Poco M3.

The Poco M3 is the successor to the popular Poco M2 which was previously launched in India and managed to become quite popular with buyers after its launch. As its successor, the Poco M3 brings a lot of the same with it, as it offers powerful specs, a rich feature set, and a fairly competitive price.

Little M3: price and availability

The Poco M3 was made available in two variants, with the first offering 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage for the price of $ 149. Poco also announced another variant for the device that was launched with the same amount of RAM, but doubles the storage to 128GB. This variant is priced at $ 169 from the company. According to information revealed by the company, the phone will be available in three colors: black, blue and yellow.

Little M3: Specifications, features and design

The Poco M3 features a design that features a triple rear camera system on the back and an interesting two-tone finish on the back. The Poco M3 also features a teardrop notch for its selfie camera and appears to have a noticeable chin. The phone is also equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the right, with the phone’s volume buttons positioned just above it. The rear panel also features the Poco logo and also houses the triple camera module and an LED flash.

The Poco M3 comes with a 6.53-inch display with support for Full HD + resolution. The panel also houses a front-facing camera inside a waterdrop-style notch. Under the hood, we have the Poco M3 powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, which is backed by 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The budget phone should ship with Android 11 out of the box.

The phone has a triple camera setup that stars a 48 megapixel primary lens with f / 1.79 aperture, a 2 megapixel depth sensor with f / 2.4 aperture, and a 2 megapixel macro lens with f / 2.4 aperture. The device also has an 8 megapixel selfie camera.

Keeping the lights on the Poco M3 is a 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support that should be good enough for most users. There is also support for reverse charging. In addition, the phone also has stereo speakers for music and other audio.
