Poco’s latest smartphone will be launched in India later today. The company will launch the Poco C3 in India at 12pm as a reiterated version of the Redmi 9C already launched by its parent company in Malaysia earlier this year.
The phone was previously teased by Flipkart and is a budget segment device that has been confirmed to feature a large display with a water drop notch and a huge 5000mAh battery.
The Poco C3 is slated to launch at 12pm in India, with the event scheduled to be live streamed by the company via the company’s Youtube channel and other social media. Little is known about the price of the phone, but the Poco C3 is expected to be an affordable and retail-grade device for less than Rs 10,000 in India.
Speaking of the phone, the device could very well be a rebranding of the Redmi 9C launched in Malaysia earlier this year. As such, it may have the same specifications as the device. If this is indeed the case, then we already have a good idea of what the device might look like and what hardware it might offer at launch.
To remind our readers, the Redmi 9C was first launched as a budget smartphone powered by the Helio G35 processor. On the outside, the phone features a 6.53-inch HD + display with a water drop-style notch and features a triple camera setup with 13-megapixel, 5-megapixel, and 2-megapixel lens on the back. There is also a 5 megapixel selfie camera on the front. Running the show is a 5000mAh battery.
For now, little is known about the Poco C3, but with the phone set to launch later in the day, we wouldn’t have to wait long to know the details. If you are interested in the phone, follow Theultramods Tech for all the latest news on the launch of the Poco C3 in India.
