The UK government has approved the resumption of outdoor sports, including tennis, across the UK starting March 29.

The LTA said in a statement that it hopes the indoor tennis facilities can safely reopen as soon as possible.
“We are delighted that there is now a clear date for the resumption of outdoor tennis in England,” he says LTA said in a statement. “We know that sport plays a key role in supporting the nation’s physical and mental health, so its return will give a boost to the whole country and is very welcome.
“Clearly tennis is a naturally socially distant and safe activity and therefore we would have liked the restrictions removed without delay and we supported that. However, we are now focused on supporting venues, coaches, officials and players to prepare for the return of outdoor tennis on March 29th.
