Oppo A15 will soon arrive in India. Before the launch, Amazon, which will be the exclusive online sales partner of the A15, is teasing the cameras on it. The Oppo A15 will have three cameras on the rear in a configuration similar to that of the F17 Pro, but the overall design is something similar to that of the Realme Narzo 20.
Amazon explained that the Oppo A15 will have a 13-megapixel main camera on the back, accompanied by a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth-sensing camera. These three sensors will occupy the first three circles of the module design while the fourth will be an LED flash. Below the cameras, dead center is the fingerprint sensor on the A15.
Oppo is touting AI-powered features for its cameras, which presumably will be AI Beauty and AI Portrait. We’re not sure what special feature the Oppo A15 might have if it does. Furthermore, the details of the selfie sensor on the A15 are also not available at the moment, among other things that remain a secret.
We have reported that the Oppo A15 may be the same device shown on the FCC website in the US. The list gave us some additional information, such as battery information. The A15 may come with a 4230mAh battery with 10W charging. We’re not sure what other specs this phone will have, at least for now, but this is sure to be a budget smartphone that will rank above the A12.
Oppo A12 launched earlier this year as the company’s budget phone for under Rs 10,000. It has a 6.2-inch HD + display with a notch at the top. It is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 at the top and features an aspect ratio of 19: 9. The Oppo A12 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor, paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal memory.
Oppo launched the A12 some time ago in India and is now preparing for the launch of its successor.
