Despite the launch of the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8T, for many, OnePlus’ biggest hit this year has been the affordable OnePlus Nord. Clad in a premium design and feature set to rival even some high-end phones, the device launched at a mid-range price point to allow OnePlus to re-enter a segment it had abandoned a few years ago.

Since the launch of OnePlus Nord, the company has launched two new phones under the line-up in the form of the OnePlus Nord N10 and N100. While the two have yet to reach India, there are now reports that another offering from the line-up would have found a place in our markets before these two started retailing in the country.

According to reports, OnePlus is working on the Nord SE, a phone it plans to launch next year. According to the latest information to come, the phone will feature improved specs, including a large 4500mAh battery that will be complemented by the company’s Warp Charge 65 technology that was recently introduced with the OnePlus 8T. Additionally, the report also adds OnePlus Nord SE will come with an AMOLED display that has not yet been confirmed to get support for a high refresh rate and will be powered by a Snapdragon 765G SoC.

At the moment, there is no information on the launch date of the OnePlus Nord, but reports say that the Nord SE could be launched soon after the release of OnePlus 9, which is expected to become official in March. Interestingly, the phone is expected to arrive in India as OnePlus is set to give the OnePlus Nord N10 and N100 a leap for the Indian market.

The two phones were launched recently, with the N10 billed as the more powerful of the two. To remind our readers, the OnePlus Nord N10 5G comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage which has been paired with a Snapdragon 690 SoC for solid performance. The phone carries with it a large 6.49-inch screen that can run at a refresh rate of 90Hz. Interestingly, this screen is larger than the one found on the OnePlus Nord.

The phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, but no in-display reader. Other device specs include dual stereo speakers, which again wasn’t included in the original Nord.

OnePlus Nord SE will have impressive specs, including a large 4500mAh battery.
