The OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro recently received a new OxygenOS 11 update, but now the company has started rolling out another update for the two devices to further improve their performance.

OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro will receive the OxygenOS 10.3.7 update with the addition of the November 2020 security patch in this OTA update. The update also brings fixes for a strange screen flashing issue when using the default setting Phone app, along with a fix for some complaints that have seen users report touch errors on the status bar of their OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro devices.

This OTA update is said to be a phased rollout, with the update being received by a limited number of users today and promised for a larger rollout in a few days after making sure there are no critical bugs. OnePlus said that using the VPN to download this build may not work as the implementation is not region-based and is randomly distributed to a limited number of devices.

Here is the complete change log for the update.

  • Optimized the user experience of the status bar in the call scene to reduce the wrong touches
  • GMS package updated to 2020.08
  • Android security patch updated to 2020.11
  • Fixed a small chance flashback issue with Phone app

As mentioned above, the update will power two phones, the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. Of the two, it’s the latter that is powerful and gets flagship specs. The OnePlus 7 Pro is equipped with a 6.67-inch Quad HD + display. It’s an AMOLED screen with no notch, thin bezels and curved edges. The screen has a 90Hz refresh rate.

It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and comes with either 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of RAM. The OnePlus 7 Pro gets a combination of a 48-megapixel main camera with a 16-megapixel wide-angle camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto triple camera setup. The main camera has a Sony IMX586 sensor. OnePlus 7 Pro has a 4000mAh battery and 30W Warp Charge support.

OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro will receive the OxygenOS 10.3.7 update with the addition of the November 2020 security patch in this OTA update.
