Amazon India has partnered with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited to make it easier for customers to book and pay for HP gas bottle refills. It is important to note that only HP Gas subscribers can reserve their gas cylinders using Amazon. Customers can also use their Alexa-enabled devices, including Echo, Fire TV Stick, or any third-party speaker with Alexa Built-in to reserve a gas bottle. Users can simply say “Alexa, book my HP GAS cylinder” and their job will be done. Processing the feature, Amazon said in a statement: “Alexa will recover the amount against the registered HP GAS mobile number / GPL ID linked to the Amazon account for existing Amazon Pay users and ask for customer confirmation before processing the payment. . HP GAS customers will now be able to use the simplicity of voice for zero-touch booking and end-to-end payment of LPG cylinders. From 4-5 clicks on the touch interfaces to place an order, Amazon Pay customers they can now complete the transaction in less than 30 seconds with zero clicks and just three voice commands to Alexa. “
To reserve a gas, users can click on the “LPG” category in the Amazon Pay tab or the “Pay bills” tab on the home page. Post that, they will need to enter their registered HP GAS mobile number or 17-digit GPL ID to get the charging fee against the reservation ID. Once the reservation is made, users will receive an SMS confirmation along with the details of the distributors. Once you’ve saved your details, you won’t have to enter them every time you make a payment. If you pay via Amazon Pay, you could get a refund of up to Rs 50.
