A House committee on Wednesday passed a resolution that would allow North Dakotians to decide whether to allow sports gambling in the state.
The Republican-led House Judiciary Committee gave the bipartisan resolution an “accept” recommendation. Now he goes to the full House for examination.
“The only way to legalize this is to put this to the vote of the people of North Dakota,” said the West Fargo Republican.
