Nokia Essential Wireless Headphones with 40-hour battery life launched

Nokia Essential Wireless Headphones are the new audio products that HMD Global has added to its lineup. Just like most headphones on the market, Nokia’s new ones support Google Assistant and Siri and offer 40 hours of playback on a single charge. The design of the headphones feels comfortable where you get padded ear pads on top of the earbuds to ensure better noise isolation.

Price of Nokia Essential wireless headphones

The Nokia Essential Wireless headphones cost 59 euros, or around Rs 5,100, and will be available in Europe starting in November. HMD Global did not say whether the headphones will be available in India and other countries.

Features of Nokia Essential wireless headphones

Powering the sound of these wireless headphones are 40mm dynamic drivers that can produce up to 20Hz of frequency. Enough bass that the frequency can bring, but if you need more, you can enable the advanced bass mode. You can use an Android phone or a file iPhone to pair the Nokia Essential wireless headphones via a Bluetooth 5.0 connection. You also have a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired output. The headphones have a USB-C port for charging.

The Nokia Essential Wireless headphones boast 40 hours of battery life thanks to the 500mAh battery inside. Nokia claims that the headphones take around three hours to charge, which isn’t the fastest, but you have the long battery life that makes up for it. You have gestures on the headphones to control music playback and answer calls. You can use gestures to call the digital voice assistant directly to your ear on Nokia Essential Wireless headsets.

HMD Global is expanding its product lines and the latest headphones look promising as they are. But the company has to be price aggressive if HMD Global is looking at undercutting Chinese rivals.

In addition to Bluetooth, you can also use the 3.5mm headphone jack to connect Nokia Essential wireless headphones.
