Nokia 6300 4G and Nokia 8000 4G would be in the works. The two phones are a throwback to their original models that HMD Global is expected to resurrect. Although evidence of the new models emerged earlier this week, not much information was available. But a new leak has suggested that the Nokia 6300 and 8000 4G will come preloaded with KaiOS, which will set them apart from their old counterparts.

As reported by Nokiapoweruser, the Nokia 6300 and Nokia 8000 phones will run the lightweight KaiOS software that also powers some recent Nokia phones that have been brought back to life. The Nokia 6300 4G will be the modern version of the Nokia 6300 Classic while the Nokia 8000 4G will be a refurbished Nokia 8800, both expected with the same design and body materials.

Not only the platform, but the report leaked the specifications of the Nokia 6300 4G and Nokia 8000 4G devices. And, considering the specs, the two phones seem powerful enough to make a powerful entry into the feature phone market that has the likes of Jio. Phone in India.

The Nokia 6300 4G is said to come with dual-SIM support, 2.4-inch display, single-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB memory, 32GB microSD card support, 1500mAh battery, Bluetooth v4.0, LTE and Micro- USB support. The device will weigh 104.7 grams and measure 53 × 131.4 × 13.7mm. It will be available in Anthracite, White and Cyan.

The Nokia 8000 4G, on the other hand, will have a 2.8-inch display, weigh 110 grams and measure 56.5 × 132.2 × 12.3 mm. The rest of the specifications will be the same as those of the Nokia 6300 4G. The color options, of course, will be slightly different. It will be available in black, gold, blue and white.

What I can tell you from these specs is that you will like the new versions of the two famous Nokia phones from the 2000s. The Nokia 8800 was one of the premium phones of the time, considered a luxury item rather than a phone. The Nokia 6300 Classic also got its reputation among business class users due to its design. Both feature-packed phones used high-quality material which was one of the reasons they were popular in the first place.

While I’m not sure when these two phones will officially launch, the alleged Nokia phones may already have been showing up on the Russian certification website as TA-1294 and TA-1303. HMD Global is expected to hold an event later this month to announce the Nokia 9.3 PureView, perhaps the Nokia 6300 4G and Nokia 8000 4G will see the light then.

HMD Global may be thinking of bringing the Nokia 6300 Classic and Nokia 8800 back to life in new avatars called Nokia 6300 4G and Nokia 8000 4G.

News Underline:

  • HMD Global may work on Nokia 6300 4G and Nokia 8000 4G.
  • The specs of the two laptops have now leaked.
  • Both the Nokia 6300 4G and the Nokia 8000 4G may come preloaded with KaiOS.
