When holding ZR you can use these brushes to sprint at tremendous speed and lay down a ribbon of ink. You can also use rapid-fire brush swings to paint the face of the enemy. This latest update from Nintendo follows the reveal of a brand new Splatoon 3-themed Switch OLED model. It comes with matching Joy-Con and a dock. A themed Switch Pro Controller will also be made available separately.

The Switch will be the only platform for Splatoon 3’s debut in September, and the Squid Research Lab has started releasing fresh videos, music, and details about the game. The Inkbrush and Octobrush weaponry are the subject of the most recent update. The inkbrush isn’t the most potent weapon, but it’s still a useful one if you want to advance quickly while marking up the nearby ground. The Octobrush generates a lot of noise, but each stroke also consumes a lot of ink.
