Needham wins CCSA Classic championship

DULUTH, Minnesota – Michigan TechAnabel Needham took home the classic title at the CCSA Championships after hitting the field by nine seconds in Saturday’s 5K. She finished sixth in Sunday’s 15K to take the Huskies to second place at the Grand Avenue Nordic Center.

“Anabel has chosen the perfect moment to collect her first collegiate victory in a championship event here”, Tech said coach Tom Monahan Smith. “He’s really showing that he has the ability to win every day.
