The world of motorsport has been devastated by the news that the legendary character Fausto Gresini has lost his battle with Covid-19.
The MotoGP team boss and former motorcycle world champion died on Tuesday in Bologna at the age of 60, two months after contracting the virus.

Gresini won two world titles in the 125cc class in 12 seasons as a driver on the world championship circuit before successfully moving on to team management.
The Italian was put into a pharmacological coma in a hospital in Bologna when he contracted the virus in December, but was removed when his condition improved in January.
Sadly, it turned out to be a false dawn for the popular motorsport character, who then suffered a series of further respiratory complications, before having to be put into an induced coma again in mid-February.
Gresini Racing released a heartbreaking statement on Tuesday to confirm the tragic news of his death.
