It’s been a very short time since the launch of the Moto G9 Play, but we already have leaks on its successor, the Moto G10 Play. According to the latest information to come, the key specs of the Moto G10 Play have been revealed.
These leaked specs reveal some interesting things, including information that the next phone may have a slightly downgraded battery and a new perforated selfie camera and side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The leak reveals that the device comes with a model number, XT-2117, and shares many similarities with Motorola’s previous series phone, the G9 Play. It also reveals that the phone will have a triple camera on the back positioned near the top of the device.
The phone is also rumored to have a 6.5-inch display with a hole in the left corner. Aside from that, leaked renders reveal that the G10 Play may have a rather thick lower chin. And since it appears to be a device built on a budget, the XT-2117 carries a fingerprint reader that has been moved from the back of the phone to a side-mounted position.
There appears to be a 3.5mm jack on the device as well. Other than that, there are some red flags that you need to note. The biggest is a downgraded battery pack compared to the G9 Play. That’s because the G9 Play has a 5,000mAh battery, while the G10 Play only gets a 4,850mAh pack according to the report. It cannot be said that this would actually affect the battery life of the device, however, even if it drops, it would be minimal due to the very slight reduction in battery size.
Other than that, we know little about the device, however, we should know more when the device finally launches online. The Moto G10 Play is believed to be announced in the coming weeks, so we’ll probably know more soon.
