Moto E7 launched with MediaTek Helio G25 SoC, 48MP camera

Motorola has made the Moto E7 official in Europe. After much leaks and speculation, the smartphone was released with a MediaTek Help G25 SoC and 48 megapixel camera. The Moto E7 is the watered down version of the Moto E7 Plus that was released in India a couple of months ago.

As for the design, the Moto E7 looks identical to the E7 Plus with a square-shaped camera module on the back. On the front there are thick bezels around the corner and a water drop notch. The rear panel also has an embossed Motorola logo in the center, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner.

So let’s take a look at the key specs, price, and similarities to the E7 Plus

    Moto E7 Price and availability

Moto E7 launched in Europe for 119.99 euros (around Rs 10,550). The phone will be available in Aqua Blue, Mineral Gray and Satin Coral color options. The E7 will go on sale in Latin America, the Middle East and Asia. Motorola has not yet shared official details on the launch in India.

    Moto E7 specifications

The Moto E7 features a 6.5-inch HD + display with a teardrop notch. In terms of the camera, it features a 48-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel sensor on the rear. On the front there is a 5 megapixel camera for selfies. The smartphone is expected to house a 4000mAh battery and run outside the box on Android 10. The smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G25 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM.

The Moto E7 is available in a single 2GB and 32GB memory variant. For connectivity, it will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi, LTE, GPS, and Bluetooth.

We’ve been using the phone for some time and here’s what we thought: in just Rs 9,499, with the E7 Plus, you get a fantastic camera, near-stock Android experience, and a decent chipset that leads the show. However, you miss out on fast charging. But then again, we can’t always have everything on one phone in this price range. However, if your budget is over Rs 10,000 and you can’t do without the quick chargers, you can go for the latest Realme Narzo phones or something from the Redmi 9 series.

After much leaks and speculation, the smartphone was released with a MediaTek Help G25 SoC and 48 megapixel camera.
