Microsoft Xbox Series X and Series S are now available for purchase in India and elsewhere. If you are planning to buy one, you need to keep in mind that you have a good TV at home to get the maximum experience. But in case you’re looking for a new TV, Microsoft has a recommendation. Microsoft and LG have entered into an exclusive partnership promoting Xbox Series X games on LG OLED TVs, giving consumers the best console experience.

LG OLED TVs are equipped with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos capabilities, which enhance maximum performance when playing on Xbox Series X and Series S game consoles. “The duo’s advanced combined processing power allows gamers to enjoy games 4K up to 120 frames per second to take advantage of the latest advances in real-time ray tracing graphics technology, “LG said in a statement announcing the exclusive agreement between the South Korean company and Microsoft.

Although Dolby Vision is not immediately available and will be rolled out later via a software update, there is the HGiG profile, which is the first in the segment, from the HDR Gaming Interest Group, founded by LG and Microsoft to improve hardware and solutions software for the best gaming experience.

According to LG, its OLED TVs are certified by TUV Rheinland and Underwriters Laboratories, ensuring these TVs are flicker-free and low blue light emissions. This means that playing on these TVs can last longer, without impacting gamers’ eyes much.

Not only these two features, but LG OLED TVs also have 1ms response speed with low input lag that favors fast gaming on TVs. The latest LG OLED TVs also feature the latest HDMI input and output standards, including Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and Enhanced Return Audio Channel (eARC), which facilitate higher response rates during games on the Xbox Series X and Series S Game Consoles. The standard response time for Xbox Series X should be 5ms maximum, which means LG TVs are suitable.
