Microsoft New Surface Pro X 256GB variant launched at Rs 1,49,999 in India

Microsoft announced new updates for the Surface Pro X laptop on October 1, 2020. The company has now released the updated Surface Pro X in India at a starting price of Rs 1.49,999. Available in two color options: black and a new platinum finish, the modernized Surface Pro X offers Microsoft’s latest processor and new app experiences.

Improvements like the Microsoft SQ2 processor included in the Surface Pro X, users expect improved performance and longer battery life. “Earlier this year, we introduced the Surface Pro X in India to push the boundaries of what an always-connected, ultralight and incredibly thin 2: 1 device could be,” said Rajiv Sodhi, Chief Operating Officer of Microsoft India. . “We now bring new updates to Surface Pro X, including new app experiences, improved performance and a new platinum finish, delivering a new experience for those who need to be connected, productive and creative at all times.”

As for new app experiences, Microsoft Surface Pro X brings Microsoft 365, Microsoft Edge, Netflix, Spotify, and more by supporting existing Windows apps like Google Chrome, Firefox, and WhatsApp. The company says Microsoft Edge and Microsoft Teams have also been made faster using less battery with new versions optimized for Windows on ARM. The Visual Studio code has also been updated and optimized for Windows on ARM.

Since the Surface Pro X is a removable tablet-laptop device, Microsoft will also unveil three new color options for the keyboard: Platinum, Ice Blue, and Poppy Red. The signature keyboard features the same built-in memory and wireless charging for the Surface Slim Pen.

Microsoft Surface Pro X is now available in India for commercial customers only. The new updated Surface Pro X comes in two configurations: 256GB storage variant at Rs 1.49,999 and 512GB storage variant at Rs 1.78,999.
