Mi Notebook 14 e-learning edition launched in India, brings Intel Core i3 CPU and embedded webcam

After revealing plans to launch a cheaper version of its Mi Notebook 14 last week, Xiaomi went ahead and quietly launched the e-learning edition of the Mi Notebook 14 today.

Compared to the regular Mi Notebook 14, this new version has some changes. While some of these changes reflect the more affordable price of the device, others are an upgrade over the original Notebook 14 that launched earlier this year.

E-learning edition for Mi Notebook 14: price and availability

The e-learning edition of Mi Notebook 14 was launched in India at the introductory price of Rs 34,999 per hour. This price will rise to Rs 44,999 presumably after the holiday period ends.

E-learning edition for Mi Notebook 14: specifications

The Mi NoteBook 14 comes with specs and a design that is very much in line with what we have seen with the regular Mi Notebook 14. However, there are some key differences as it comes with an Intel 10th Gen Core i3-10110U processor with clocked up to 4 GHz maximum speed. This was paired with a 256GB SSD and 8GB of RAM.

The laptop also has the same integrated Intel UHD 620 graphics chip that was previously seen on the Mi Notebook 14. It comes with a preloaded copy of Windows 10 and a promise of 10 hours of battery life with its large battery.

The laptop largely retains the same design language and comes in a slim form factor and a weight of 1.5kg. However, there appear to be slightly more robust bezels on the laptop and a major design and feature update in the form of a built-in webcam – a feature that was missing not only on the Mi Notebook 14 but also on the Mi Notebook 14 Horizon edition. But despite this, the display of the e-learning edition of the Mi Notebook 14 appears to be the same as it is the same size and can run at the same high resolution of 1080p.

Compared to the regular Mi Notebook 14, this new version has some changes. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
