Metro Health Dept. reports 171 new cases of COVID-19 in Davidson County

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (WKRN) – There are now a total of 91,703 cases of COVID-19 in Davidson County as of Saturday, according to the Metro Public Health Department.

The Metro Public Health Department has launched an initiative to ensure no COVID-19 vaccine doses are wasted by implementing a waiting list for Davidson County residents. If you are interested in joining the Standby List, you are asked to email the Health Department at COVID19VaccineStandby@nashville.gov every day that the Standby List is operational.

The total number of confirmed and probable cases has grown by 171 in the past 24 hours. There were a total of 858 deaths in Davidson County.

85,211 reported individuals have recovered from the virus. Of the confirmed COVID-19 cases in Davidson County, 1,634 are “active”.

The health department reported that hospital beds available in Nashville are 12% and those available in ICU 13%.
