Metro Health Dept. reports 171 new cases of COVID-19 in Davidson County

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (WKRN) – There are now a total of 91,703 cases of COVID-19 in Davidson County as of Saturday, according to the Metro Public Health Department.

The Metro Public Health Department has launched an initiative to ensure no COVID-19 vaccine doses are wasted by implementing a waiting list for Davidson County residents. If you are interested in joining the Standby List, you are asked to email the Health Department at every day that the Standby List is operational.

The total number of confirmed and probable cases has grown by 171 in the past 24 hours. There were a total of 858 deaths in Davidson County.

85,211 reported individuals have recovered from the virus. Of the confirmed COVID-19 cases in Davidson County, 1,634 are “active”.

The health department reported that hospital beds available in Nashville are 12% and those available in ICU 13%.
